Canterbury League Club’s Atrium Bar now open
As part of Cerno's project management of the $106 million redevelopment of Canterbury League Club, which has now reached practical completion, the Club's new Atrium Bar has recently opened. Overlooking the trees and waterfall of the club's atrium and fitted out in a clean contemporary style, the bar is the perfect spot to enjoy craft beers, cocktails and wine of an evening.
As a major community and sporting hub in the Canterbury-Bankstown area, Canterbury League Club underwent a significant redevelopment in order to cement its reputation as a premier hospitality and entertainment venue. On the ground floor a new cafe-restaurant and bistro with play area and outdoor terrace was developed, while upstairs the gaming floor was transformed into a class-leading contemporary space featuring VIP room, outdoor terrace and bar.
New infrastructure was constructed, including loading dock, waste removal area and production kitchens, plus a 400-space, five-level underground car park. Meanwhile outside, the club's exterior was given a face-lift with a contemporary copper façade, water feature, porte-cochere, and new landscaping.
